I really like the Lakers. They go visit the Denver Nuggets tommrow night. The line came out at LAL +2.5 and quickly went down to +2 with the public split on the game. Lakers are 5-0 SU with 3 days rest, Denver is 6-12 ATS this year on B2B and the lakeshow is coming off an embarassing blowout loss to SA. Lakers want this one BADLY as they don't want to limp into the playoffs or give the Nuggets any confidence for the playoffs by letting them get a late win during the season. The game also has Ginals implications as they are very close with Orlando and it could determine home court advantage for the Finals.
This is also the smallest favorite line Denver has ever been at home vs LAL in the last 4 games. A They were favored by 4, 5.5, 4.5 and 3.5. Why such a small line after the Nuggets absolutely drilled LAL at home last time? Sounds like a trap.
Lakers +2 BIG LOCKED
Ok I am officially on the Bulls tonight. This line just makes no sense whatsoever. Chicago hasn't been favored at home against Chicago in 2 years. The last time Chicago was favored at home was over 2 years ago, they were -4.5 and won by 11.
Last time Chicago was at home playing Cleveland, less than a month ago, they were underdog 10 and in Novemeber they were underdog 11.5 and now all of a sudden they are a 2.5 point favorite coming off a horrendous loss to the Bucks without Bogut? This seems like a trap. I have a feeling we won't see much of any of the starters for Cleveland in this game, it's the only thing that makes any sense whatsoever to justify this line.
There is also HUGE reverse line movement on this game with the public pounding Cleveland and the line going up from Bulls -2 to Bulls -3 even some places.
Bulls -1.5 -125 HEAVY LOCKED
