What am I missing here? It seems to me like Denver is the easy pick, coming off a few days rest and going up against an Oklahoma CIty team who was playing in a marathon last night in Utah. I understand Denver is on a slide right now, but they are also one of the most talented teams in the West and need to get back on track before the playoffs.
The only negative I see is a potential lookahead situation for Denver as they host Los Angeles tomorrow night. But OKC is in a tough spot as well, as this game is sandwiched between a trip to Utah and a Friday night game against Phoenix.
If you read other threads on this forum it sounds like OKC is the steal of the century, and the entire public is on Denver. I haven't seen a lot of evidence that anyone is on Denver. It seems to me like the square public will be backing the red hot Thunder, and I am going to be on the well rested Nuggets.
