NBA Best Bets

You may join at any point. Simply post your best bet for the day and you will be added.

The Rules:
- Each user may post one pick each day.
- Each bet will be to win $100 on - lines and risking $100 on + lines.
- You may make any bet that is listed on SBRodds.
- Books allowed: All books on SBRodds
- Chalk Limit of -180

New Rule for Newcomers:
If you are new to this thread you must pay 15 points to join and have your bets tracked. I have had far too many users post a bet or two and leave after losing two in a row. I don't mind taking my time to do this, but don't waste my time just trying to get lucky. A 15-point investment will prove you are serious about joining this thread. I'm sorry that it has had to come to this.

I'm attaching the rankings as a PDF from now on as it makes things easier.

System Play

SBR Rookie Analysis
1) Under Larry Cook's System, Road favorites of 3.5 to 9.5 points (PHOENIX) - after a combined score of 205 points or more 4 straight games. This is a 34-12 ATS System hitting 73.9% over the last 5 seasons. Phoenix scores so many points that it's easy for them to cover these bigger spreads. The Suns have put up 110 or more points in 8 of their last 9 games.

2) The Suns are 9-0 SU & 6-2-1 ATS in their last 9 games. This team is hitting on all cylinders right now and has a legitimate shot to earn the #2 seed in the Western Conference with a big finish. Detroit is 0-9 SU & 0-9 ATS in their last 9 games overall. The Pistons aren't even giving effort right now as they have basically thrown in the towel with nothing to play for.

3) My System Play has Phoenix to win by a margin of -10.0 at a EDGE of 54% chance of covering spread. Trends to also consider are as follows
* Phx are 10-3 ATS in their Last 13 Road Games
* PHX are 15-5-1 ATS in their Last 21 Friday Night Games

4) on the play side, theres going to be no one thats going to be able to handle Nash whos in form and Amare Stoudamire inside. This combo will have a field day and I see Phoenix extending there home winning streak to 10 games and havent lost in Detroit since 2006-07 season. The Pistons (23-51) ended March on a 9 game slide losing by an average of 14.1 points.

5) Detroit has loss to Miami, Chicago, New Jersey Nets Indiana Pacers in last 4 games (teams with subpar .500 or less). I dont intend them to compete with a TIER 1 Team who can put up points. Detroit has no offensive and both teams are going in the opposite direction in regards to current form.
