you must be out of your mind. Lebron is the hands down favorite. durant is the only one that can compete but he doesent have such a good chance

Nash? Are you kidding me?
You could argue he shouldn't have any MVPs right now.
Nash is not even top 5.
For me, LeBron by a nose over Durant.

I couldn't find current odds. The books I looked at don't have betting available on it right now.
NSA had these before the season:
2009-2010 NBA MVP – Odds to win
901 Amare Stoudemire 30/1 +3000
902 Brandon Roy 16/1 +1600
903 Carmelo Anthony 10/1 +1000
904 Carlos Boozer 30/1 +3000
905 Chris Bosh 30/1 +3000
906 Chris Paul 10/1 +1000
907 Danny Granger 33/1 +3300
908 Deron Williams 22/1 +2200
909 Dirk Nowitzki 12/1 +1200
910 Dwight Howard 8/1 +800
911 Dwyane Wade 5/1 +500
912 Gilbert Arenas 25/1 +2500
913 Joe Johnson 50/1 +5000 914 Kevin Durant 30/1 +3000
915 Kevin Garnett 30/1 +3000
916 Kobe Bryant 3.5/1 +350 917 LeBron James 3/1 +285
918 Pau Gasol 30/1 +3000
919 Paul Pierce 30/1 +3000
920 Shaquille ONeal 22/1 +2200
921 Steve Nash 30/1 +3000
922 Tim Duncan 12/1 +1200
923 Tony Parker 16/1 +1600
924 Field 12/1 +1200
I'd love to know how Gilbert Arenas and Shaq got on there. Shaq 22/1? GTFO.

Id argue that KD is better, only because he has less of a supporting cast and still puts up numbers, and IMO makes the players around him better.
But LBJ will win the MVP. I dont think its even close. But IMO KD should get it.
KD = THE NEXT ONE

haha that person that said Durant is better than LBJ. Listen, he's got a long way to go before you put him on Lebron's level. Still top 5 in the NBA nonetheless. Durant will have a hard time winning the MVP unless his team dramatically improves. The MVP next year is going to be between Lebron, Kobe, and D wade once again. Once the big offseason moves are made, MVP candidates will be obvious. I'm hoping for D wade and Bosh to play together in MIA. wow, would easily be the sickest combo in NBA history.
D wade goes down as a top 15 player in NBA history when he retires. He'll have 3 rings at least.

It depends where he plays the rest of his career.
He has one ring now, and he's 28. That's about the end of your prime as a basketball player.

Jordan won first ring at 28, won 5 more after that. I think Wade wins at least 2 more. 28 is the end of your prime? Your suggesting Wade's prime is over? Players like D Wade come once in a lifetime. They're in their prime until their 32 at least. Kobe is still in his prime today, after like 12 years in the league.
