Most NBA games have a script written before they play. All players rehearse for hours before game time to make sure game lands on desired pointspread (or O/U total) without looking too obvious. It is beautiful choreography that requires years of dedication and practice to perfect, this is why the NBA is FAN-tastic and why college hoops is BOR-ing.
