#14I like SA here. The 1st squad did not play much against the pathetic and old celtics. Furthermore, San Antonio does not want to risk ending up in the 8th playoff spot. Who the hell wants to play the Lakers? Right now the 6-8 spots are tied and I guarantee you, no one wants to be the 8th seed. Look for a blowout tomorrow.Comment -

1. We are old and the more games played= more injury prone and more tired, i think the first round is when the spurs have the best chance to beat the lakers... if we play 2 seven game series and then the lakers it will be over no chance
2. spurs are playing great and parker will be fresh off his injury just in time

#17Im a spurs fan and honestly i would not mind seeing the spurs play the lakers in the first round. Yes people might think im crazy but heres my reasoning:
1. We are old and the more games played= more injury prone and more tired, i think the first round is when the spurs have the best chance to beat the lakers... if we play 2 seven game series and then the lakers it will be over no chance
2. spurs are playing great and parker will be fresh off his injury just in time
opinions?
1.duncan isn't the same player he used to be i think gasol and bynum will eat him up inside, those twin towers are too much for an aged timmy, i won't be talking about the spurs' center not worth it too old to go against bynum
2. spurs doesn't have bruce bowen now, he gets under the skin of kobe, they have bogans now which doesn't even bother kobe, he doesn't have kobe's respect, kobe will just rape his ass off
3. lakers have artest to defend against perimeter players, look for kobe and artest to man up on ginobili, they won't be worried about richard jefferson he isn't the player he once was
4. parker won't be 100% come playoff time, maybe a little rusty too, they will have to depend on george hill, i think farmar and brown may match up a little better with hill
5. odom is better than any of the spur's bench playersComment -

#20no im not saying the odds are good for the spurs to beat the lakers especially in a seven game series (but this goes for all teams in the nba) but yes theres always a chance when you have pop as coach and mvps as duncan ginobili and parker... Also im just saying the spurs chances are better off in the first round than in later rounds , the lakers are stacked gasol/kobe i think is too much for every team in a 7 games series but if we play the lakers i would want it in the first roundComment -

#30Ginobli's beasting it now. Pop prolly played Duncan for 20 minutes last night because he's played like crap recently. I think that Pop wants Duncan to rape the Nets and build his confidence back up tonight. My biased bet is on San Antonio. Born and raised...Comment -
