    Key's NBA Line Thursday 3-25-10
    Chicago, -4, 194.5
    Houston, -10, 211
    Portland, -6, 201

I think I will have a very good one tonight but also think we can gain value by waiting for line movement.
    Cya later.

            Mavericks-Trailblazers OVER 192

I will reiterate what I told you when picking the Mavericks-Hornets over at New Orleans. This team plays no defense. They aren't any better than The Warriors in that regard. The Mavericks are currently scoring 106.8 ppg, but are surrendering 107.1 ppg. That is correct, a negative margin. I sometimes try to lessen the impact of 1 or 2 especially good or bad games by running a median as opposed to an average. Guess what? The Mavericks are still in a negative scoring position at +106.4 ppg and -107.2 ppg. that is on the ridiculous side of a team some folks (experts?) think may be the best team in the league. Above figures based on last 10 played, but they have looked bad for quite some time and have just 4 unders in their last 14 games. In reverse order Clippers, Boston, New Jersey and Charlotte. Those four opponents average 95.5 ppg over the course of their last 10 and only the resurgent Celtics are in the Trailblazers class. The Trailblazers can be considered a little different animal than three of those four at 100 ppg last 10 versus a decidedly tougher schedule than the Mavericks have been playing. The difference in SOS alone, according to my rankings is worth 2.7 ppg. As stated before, I run totals four different ways and in this case the lowest, bare bones minimum, clocks in at 198.6 and the actual total score I am confident in calling for should be around 201. Bol, Key.

Entirely proprietary. My models have been under development for ten years and the stats I use are weighted for probable impact on a given side or total. Not for sale or rent until I retire.
