I didnt understand the line when it came out, so I stayed away, but once I say the 1stH I was all over the Lake Show. Spurs making too many shots in the first to keep up that type of performance.

I guess this needs to be said... Bynum is out, and it doesnt effect Lakers chances of winning. They only need him for the finals IMO. Orlando and Cavs are the only teams that will present size that comes close to Lakers frontline.

I can't believe I am going to say this, but...

Kobe had an absolutely phenomenal game tonight. He did a great job on Manu when he matched up with him and he pick and chose his spots on offense much better than I'm used to seeing out of him. He didn't force shots and he found the open man when the double came. His performance, combined with Artest's ridiculous defense, were the only reasons the Lakers won this game.

That being said, the Lakers were SOFT inside. Luckily, SA is old inside and can't handle the busy schedule.

I believe there are square players, but not square plays. An obvious play is not a square play. It's only when someone repeatedly bets the obvious plays over and over and over, then I see them as a square. At least, that's how I view it. Just semantics I guess and also I'm just tired of everyone lamenting 'square plays' just because it looks too good. Guess what, the Lakers don't lose these games.
