Can't be just coincidence there is something to it because it happens over and over.. I haven't lost more than 2 bets in a role playing the trends of Brothers and Bavetta all year.

Oh Lyon when I went to the celts a few weeks ago, Bavetta was actually the ref! During one of the breaks you shoulda seen it. They were having a little conference and it just looked so evil. Hes pointing to the two other refs, saying something, doing fishy movements with his other arm. Most likely telling them how the game needs to end. Looked like a sure over at halftime but ended up being another under under his belt

yea, Bavetta is definitely in charge and Tim Donagay said he controlled pace better than any other ref in the game.. He said working with Bavetta was like having a masters in 'game manipulation'.. Why else would that old man still be around.. He is the "company man" for ratings for the NBA and NY City, Vegas Mob.. So sad how the unsuspecting public has no clue or doesn't believe it is actually going on. I guess that's the good thing.. if painters, truck drivers, school teachers, electricians, and everybody knew it then it wouldn't happen anymore.

your so right dude. Bavetta almost always keeps both teams score under 100. Leon Wood also has a very poor home team ats record. There is something fishy going on here.

Not that I'm arguing against bias among referees in the NBA, but if you had a part in fixing games, why would you draw attention to yourself by slanting the games so dramatically to the Under and the Road team?

I saw Bavetta reffing the Hawks game last night that should have been a good over. I took the 1H under but that was my mistake... either take the full game under or nab it at halftime. The 2H was insanely under.

this info has been public for a long time. Donaghue has a book out on it. A lot of people on this site cash tickets based soley on ref angles. Every time I watch a NBA game on TNT/ABC/ESPN there are always very questionable calls but it still keeps happening. I would bet that there is a very small % of sports bettors who actually know about ref angles. Thanks to the good cappers at SBR I came across the covers ref info maybe 3 months ago but I highly doubt the vast majority of bettors know about this or would even give it much weight.

I hear ya it just seems like all good things must come to an end. Air it out long enough and someone will take offense and shut it down. I guess as long as the general betting public doesn't catch on and start taking money from the books we'll be okay.

This is great Lyon....the question is....who is going to start the "Referee Trend Thread" and track plays and wins/losses. If the records that Houlihan is throwing is up is accurate, this would be a money maker....wouldn't it?
