Pistons will bury Indiana on Tuesday
Favored by only 3.5 at home -- where they're almost .500 -- against a team that's 7-30 with nine straight losses on the road.

Pistons will be driven to not get swept in the season series. Coming off a blowout loss on Sunday, they have added motivation on their home court.

Public's all over Indiana early. Love going the other way here.

Lol..so true. Who the hell knows. Indy has been horrid on the road but they have played much better the last 10-14 games everywhere.

I'm on this, the over in the Denver game, and the (gulp) Clip joint.

I also think that you have to look at the CHA/WASH under the way you looked at the GS/PHO over tonight. The total's so low (184.5) that the under is the play.

its like the miami 2nd half the other day... like 81 or something? how could u even play the over when u see a line like that it should be an automatic in your head....

Joe Public will look at that number and hammer the over -- especially since he likes overs in the first place.

As long as it stays around 185 or so with everyone and their dog pounding the over, I'm going big on the under.

Perhaps but it doesnt work that way all the time, that game was close also and overtime was not out of the question.

Charlotte and Washington average around 190 PPG combined offensively. They give up about 194.

At home, Washington averages 98. On the road, Charlotte averages 92.

                          So that's 190, 194 and 190. Yet the total's set at 184.5?

i would most likely always take the under when these 2 teams r playing, but i feel like all the value has already been taken out of the line

imo, this is because Washington has struggled even more offensively of late and many of the #'s on them was when they had scorers and slashers that could drive or hit the 3.. guys like Jamison/Arenas/Butler.. now all those are gone and those stats you named are coming down.. Also, keep in mind that the Bobcats are in the playoff hunt and sometimes have trouble scoring especially on the road against many teams, but they will be motivated and play lock down D. Washington won't sniff anything outside the 80's imo and Charlotte most likely won't top 100.. Something like a 93 to 86 type game imo with Charlotte winning.

Exactly. Like I said, the public's going to smash the over and it's set at a ridiculously low number (lowest of the year in the NBA?), which means the under is the play IMHO.

and if the bobcats are really spirited defensively they might hold Washington to the 70's

Washington has averaged 87.4 in its last five games.

                                    Charlotte has averaged 90.6.

                                    That's 178 total.

Yet keep an eye on what the public backs into tomorrow afternoon. My guess is 70-80% will be on the over.

very tough venues to play in- wash is also coming off a long trip so thats good if you like charlotte.

I thought that initially, but I wont go against my number by 8 points. Vegas is giving me 8 points against my number, I gotta take it.

Pacers are on quite an ATS run at the moment. 8-2 their last 10 games. Also 8-2 ATS vs Detroit in last 10. Pacers just have Detroits number.

To not get swept by the GD Pacers? I'd say that counts for something -- at least it should.

Their are no high chances at anything with a lottery draft, besides Im sure they would like to be out of Detroit right now.

No, more lottery balls mean nothing. The lottery took away from any notion of a team even thinking about tanking. I just believe Indiana is playing better right now and beating OKC recently doesnt hurt their chances in this one.
