lakerboy is obv solid but why would he come back? no matter what happens, there will always be haters in his thread and people who want to see him lose

i hope he returns because he is an asset to the forum but theres no reason for him to put up with the BS here, especially when hes made people a ton of money...sadly SBR is turning into the Covers forum

I respect LB because I know he is good at what he does, but maybe if you guys didn't make it so obvious that you are on his nuts because he makes you guys MONEY and that's all you really care about, he'd be more inclined to come back.

I agree with what you said about all these people being on his nuts, but I think Lakerboy actually enjoys the attention.

I also agree that people are making it very obvious that they just want to use Lakeboy for his plays, Lakerboy has not left the forum, he is still making posts, just not posting his plays.

While I think Lakerboy is a experienced and solid capper, my general rule of thumb is to never blindly tailed someone. I broke that rule a few times this week and it turned out to be a terrible mistake.

I would still like to see LakerBoy's plays and insights, because he is experienced and seems like a cool guy, but I would be just fine without it. There are probably a lot of good cappers on this forum, and a couple of head is better than one.

Guys I don't post much here but I read a lot,and Lkr Boy was one hell of a capper.No bs. just a lot of good picks. If he wants to come back that is his decision,it's too bad a few bad apples has to spoil it for everyone, but that is the price we pay on every site I have ever saw.Do I want to see him back,abastivy,posiluty,but it's his call.

You can't stop anyone from blindly tailing and I'm sure there were way too many who did that. The thing that I am going to miss most from LB's thread is not his plays, but his insight and the conversation throughout the thread. Hey, the plays were great, the guy was up close to 200 units. I tailed from time to time, but more or less made myself part of the thread to discuss the games, lines movement, matchups, etc.

The true followers all know what I'm talking about. For those who blindly tailed and got pissed when he missed on a play and then ripped him... well... must suck losing that money, right?

the problem is that people want a money making machine...not willing to put in any work and wants to win money every single day

LB was just a capper who did pretty damn well for himself...unfortunately there are people out there who dont understand that shitty days happen, and they happen often

cheers to LB for a good season, the guy will be up for the rest of the season for sure on his unposted plays

Guys do me a favor. Stop making these threads about me- im just another poster here. Im still here making posts and comments- im just not posting plays anymore. Its not that big of a deal. You guys should have learned something from my plays while i was making them and if you didnt be smart and go spend a few minutes of your time and go and look in my threads and see the plays and see if you can find what i was doing.It wasnt just fading the public either.

Seriously, I just joined earlier this month, and didn't even read his thread until like 2 weeks ago and I already know some of the things he does.

Here are a few of the things he does:

- Generally fades the public consensus. Reason: The books want the majority of the public to lose so they can win.

- Observes line movements, especially near game time. Reason: Books usually want a even amount of bets on both sides of the game, that will they will be even on the wagers, and just eat up the juice.

- Wait until a few minutes before the game starts to place your wager, especially if you are not confident about your play. Reason: You will see the line movement history and whether late money is coming in and at which side.

Of course, there are the intangibles such as experience, knowledge of the sport you are betting on, and last but definitely not least, LUCK.
