#3Over at the soccer forum we all get along.
We all take responsibility for plays, if someone is trolling, whining, complaining we IGNORE them or call them out. We need to do the same thing over here. The main problem in this forum is respect, people who don't take responsibility for their own money.Comment -

#7who cares - its friggin cyberspace.......i dont let the drama get to me. ive been posting on this site since 12/08, and i think that i maybe missed 5-6 days of making plays and that was because of a social event or trip etc....
it goes in waves of being a good site and bad....but its no different then any other place im sure. each site likely has the attention whores who just post plays and tout themselves.
i take it for what its worth......win or lose, i will always post my plays and continue to be a member here.Comment -

#9SB, every year around this time the NBA forum become a middle school's backyard.......I'm better than you.....my weewee is longer than your weewee.....bla bla bla.
My observation is NBA is the hardest sport to make money around this time of the year. Books need to get their money back from squares and sharps alike. Look at few big games last week (Oklahoma/Toronto, Orlando/Miami, Bucks/King, Buck/Denver)you know what I mean.
Now, some top capper like LB make his call and labeled it with a high level of confident, and the call went south, people who follow him (selectively) lost money, some of them lost entire br. So it can be understand why there are some frustrations in few posters, but I still think people who raise their anger are classless anyway.
Remember last year, around this time where CK got into similar storm. I mean just like LB, the guy try to help out, but no one will win them all. And some of CK calls with high level of confident went bad, then people call him just an average guy, then the weather guy come in, and bla bla .....i'm sure most of you here long enough still remember.
I think if you are a high profile (in here SBR), and when you put your nuts on the table with a confident call, if the call hit not only the winning money get you high, the cheers of your followers get you even higher. At the same token, if the call went bad, the lost of money got you bitter, and the boooo get you more frustrated. Take the heat if you are lose, that's what separate between a man and a boy.
So, this craziness is part of SBR NBA forum tradition whether you like it or not, I almost certainly sure it will happen again next year.
I don't follow LB thread (I wish I were), but I do hope he stick around, because look like he help out a lot of individuals around here.Comment -

#13you know guys, I surf around the forum and have been one of LB's followers, and I play what I can. I am one that doesn't know how to cap and use what you guys post to decide on what I play. I am probably as square as they come so have used what a lot of you say to help me choose my picks. I used LB a lot but never made a killing because I could not risk that much and because some bets I didn't feel good about making.
I don't want to disrespect any of you for all the hard work that you do to cap games, but it seems like you guys seem to think that guys like me, who have very limited to no capping skills blame you guys when we lose. I have been frustrated and said a team sucked that day, just like everyone else, including many of you that are good cappers. But in reality, there are only a few people on this site that have ever blamed LB or any of you other guys for their picks. Like maybe 3 people have blamed somebody else, but many of you guys make it sound like all the tailers blame the cappers and that is just not true. It is always some wise ass that we seldom see on any of the threads come in and do that. Probably 2% of the posters on any thread has ever blamed the capper. I take responsibility for my bets and if I lean one way because of what you guys post and it hits, I like to say thanks. I have never blamed any of you for a pick that I have made, and like I said, except for about 3 other posters, no one else has either.
I am as frustrated as anyone else about the way people act, but it is only a small minority that act inappropriately. I take it as an insult to be called one of LB's sheep, or saying those that follow him are giving him e-head from some of the cappers out there. That is no better than than someone blaming someone for a pick. Don 't understand why there isn't more working together to beat the system instead of letting the system beat the group of us. I am going to keep reading what people say, make my judgement on who is a good capper, use their information collectively and then make my picks. As Rodney King said, "Why can't we all just get along?"Comment -

#14The biggest problem in this forum is the newbies who are leeches and just feed off the good cappers, they won't say as much as a thank you when a play wins but when a play loses they start talkin shit like they the mayor.
It's sickening how some people on this forum act, you ****ing babies need to go crawl back into your box and suck on your dudu.

All I am saying is why is everyone trying to be the big dick around here. I don't get why they want to be the top capper blah blah blah.. I thought that this place was a place to come chill, build your bank roll and salvages the losses by a few angles that weren't brought to your attention. Why does everyone disapear if they have a bad run? It's cyberspace how in the hell does that affect who you are as a person or how fat your wallet is getting. Way to many chest pounders around here that probably shouldn't even be betting in the first place because they lack mm discipline. I don't know this place has become more of a players talk and it's kind of a burn to me cause I like some of these cats in this thing of our....Comment -

#17I'm running an NBA thread and have had moderate success, so far. I haven't had anyone b!tch and complain on any losses. If you tail someone, IT'S ON YOU!

#19I agree with Dexter. The ratio of intillegence to inexperience, impatience and ego is the same elsewhere. Actually, the latter is needed to create market disparities and opportunities; similar to fish at a poker table. There is just as much info to gather from them as well.Comment -

#20From my experience, Basketball is the biggest shit talking sport I have ever played in my life. Shockingly more than football. But I can understand why this section of the forum is just like the sport. Everyone is just trying to get under each others skin to make them perform bad. But the best player is the one that ignores everyone's bullshit and focuses on themselves....Comment
