Wow. After we saw loads of games going OVER, most games went UNDER today. I don't like Wednesday cards but here's what I think:
Oklahoma City at -1.5 right now looks easy. I think it might hit. Cats really feeling the loss of their best defender last night against the Pacers. They just allowed Granger and Murphy drop points on them easy. Then again, it has let down and look ahead written all over in that game but I still went with them. Charlotte Bobcats MLlooks like a good value since they play really well on back to back (12-5) games and at home (18-4). At the moment, no play for me in this game.
I don't know what's up with that game against Detroit Tuesday Night but man did they make the Cavs look bad going back at home to play the Pacers. Pacers just broke a 2 game slide with a win against the Wallace-less Cats. I like the Indiana Pacers +13 to cover the spread tonight with the Cavs not really dominating teams lately. Cavs wins this straight up but Pacers pulls a fast one on them for the cover. Should've seen this earlier but Granger looks like he's out to ball after the suspension he got.
Okay, I know I'll most likely be throwing my money here but I see the New York Knicks as a 9.5 road dog a blessing. Not too crazy with this play but the probability of this team keeping up with the Celtics is really good. They've lost to the Celtics with an average of 3.5 points in two games (both went OVER). I think the Knicks even with the lineup they have now sticks with this Green men. The only red flag here is that the Knicks are ending a 5 game road trip and is on a 2 game winning streak (beat the 76ers by DD and blew away the Mavs) Yes! Them playing really nice basketball the last 2 game (well actually 3) is a red flag for me.
Okay, I think I like one game going Wednesday but still reluctant on whether to hammer this one as it looks waaaaay easy. Spurs as a 7.5 road dog is just too much. What am I missing? Didn't they just win 8 of their last 9 games (currently riding a 4 game streak)? Hell, I'll make this quick. Orlando Magic -7.5 is definitely the play here. When was the last time you saw something like this? Oh, let me answer it for you. Go back 5 days ago where the Celtics are 7 point road dog to the streaking Cavs. Looks like the same feeling here right?
Too many points to lay for the Jazz. I think Minnesota Timberwolves +15 is a nice little play but who am I kidding? It's like betting on New Jersey to actually win or something. Last 3 games this season was pretty close but since they're all in December, who'd look at the Jazz the same way back then. I like Utah Jazz here despite the spread. I think they are the most capable team to cover such huge spread at home.
Riding the streak. Milwaukee Bucks -4. I just hate the Clippers as much as I hate betting on the 76ers, Wolves, and the Nets. What I like right now is one hot Spicy Curry. Hornets@Warriors looks like fun and I think the Warrirors, with the way they are playing, can steal one over the Hornets who I think won't have much of a real shot at a play-off spot this season. Stephen Curry has been lighting it up and this kid will be fire tonight.
