LA Lakers/Golden St Warriors (some real home cooking)
While we all know referees favor the home team and/or the better team in their officiating, they are supposed to appear at least somewhat neutral.

Last night stats of the Lakers Warriors game where the referees had to work overtime to hand the Lakers the win:

Golden State made 6 more 2 point baskets than the Lakers (48 to 42).
They also made 7 more 3 point baskets than the Lakers (13 to 6).

Golden State outscored the Lakers by 19 points in the part of the game that the referees have no control over and also made 92% of their free throws to the Lakers 80%.

In every facet of the game, the Warriors absolutely dominated. Unfortunately, they were outgunned as they were playing 8 on 5 which is tough for any team to overcome.

    Free throw and foul stats:
Lakers 34 free throws made from 42 attempts
Warriors 12 free throws made from 13 attempts

    Fouls:
    Lakers 14 fouls
    Warriors 26 fouls

Amazingly, the Lakers continue to complain almost each and every time the rare foul is called against them at home.

I would be interested in seeing the stat of how many fouls have been called against the Lakers at home versus the opponents.

The disparity in fouls must be staggering.

I've been watching Lakers/Warriors for longer than I care to admit, the Warriors have never gotten any calls against the Lake Show and never will. As a Warrior fan, I'm pretty much resigned to that fact.

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt but the large disparity on fouls called is due to the fact that the Warriors shoots from the outside, while the Lakers more often than no,t pounds the inside, due to their size advantage, which will inevitably leads to contacts and fouls called. That's basic bball 101...
