NBA Best Bets

You may join at any point. Simply post your best bet for the day and you will be added.

The Rules:
- Each user may post one pick each day.
- Each bet will be to win $100 on - lines and risking $100 on + lines.
- You may make any bet that is listed on SBRodds.

New Rule for Newcomers:
If you are new to this thread you must pay 15 points to join and have your bets tracked. I have had far too many users post a bet or two and leave after losing two in a row. I don't mind taking my time to do this, but don't waste my time just trying to get lucky. A 15-point investment will prove you are serious about joining this thread. I'm sorry that it has had to come to this.

I wouldnt say its a Free Payday but I think the points is a tad generous. I think the spread should be -4.5 for DENVER. I wouldnt rule ROCKETS out like you said, Ariza is back and I think he'll be a factor and he'll be guarding Anthony. I dont like that card much but if you ask me who would win on the ATS. I would favour DENVER.

Nope, I mean HOUSTON is at home but hard to tell which Rockets Team is going to show up. I lost faith in watching there games when they were once playing Sacramento I think and they couldnt score a bucket in 7 minutes in the 4th quarter and they lost the game 90 to 84.

But, yeah will be interesting on how many Units your going to put on this as IM keen to find out what you know that the rest of the Squares dont. LOL

I agree that any team getting points at home is a +. However, I would have to drop HOUSTON out of a top 10 team and DENVER is classified in my opinion ranked 5th overall. Only stats I dislike is that Carmelo Anthony only averages 19.8 PTS per game in this building they playing in, but numbers are numbers.

End of day, I just think Denver going to get smoked by the bench and Brooks is going to have a choker of a game. Just got that FEELING Houston going to drop the ball.

This Houston team is so different from last years team with no Artest, Yao, Landry that it is tough to accurately gauge using years prior data. This year Denver went to Houston and beat them by 5. Rockets didn't have Kevin Martin yet but the Nugs were without Melo that night.

Aflalo and JR Smith are equipped to run around screen after Martin and Scola will struggle somewhat against that length in the frontcourt even without K Mart. Sorry for posting a pick in here before, didn't read to realize it was a continual official thing ... my bad for being noobish

Thanks for doing the moderating SS, appreciate it as Ive tried to tell these guys over and over again and they dont seem to just get it. Ive given up in trying to reply back to them so I have left them off the spreadsheet until they start reading properly.

I think it happens everyday here. You can't do anything but shake your head. Maybe if one hits and realizes his record was not updated he will ask why then you can tell him the drill here.
