Public usully stays away when the total is extremely high. So extreme totals may offer very good betting opportunities. If line is too low, don't think it's piece of cake. It's low for a reason maybe Vegas knows something that you don't.
Majority of my NBA Plays (%95) are Total Plays. I don't mess with side bets often, very rare. The tricy thing about totals is, Vegas' lines are not meant to be predictons. If total is 198, it doesn't mean that Vegas is expecting 198 points to be scored. So?
To create equal action in both sides of course. In fact, you're not betting against the bookie. It's joe public, other bettors that you're betting against. Bookie is not a gambler.
I'm expecting a high scoring game in Raptors vs Warriors game. Probably 234 or 236 points. GL!

Yes, a little bit. I was expecting something like 210. May go under the total. Not a play for me right now but I may consider Under if line moves up.

Thank you for your kind words Chris. I'm posting my plays in Statfox forum since 23 Jan. I rate my plays between 5-10 but all my stakes are same. I'm a strong believer in flat staking, same bet size for each bet. 5* and 6* plays don't have a sexy winning percentage since they're just small leans. 7* Plays and up have a good record so far. (Since 23 Jan)
*10 Plays: 10-6
*9 Plays: 14-6
*8 Plays: 23-15
*7 Plays: 25-18
8* plays and up have a better winning percentage but *7+ plays are more profitable. (More Total Profit)
9+ Plays: 24-12 (%66.67)
8+ Plays: 48-27 (%64)

I must admit that I'm more confident with Min vs Sac Over and Bos vs Cle Under but I place all my wagers flat, same size. In this thread, I won't have any bets like 1-Unit on a single game, 5-Unit on another game or 30-Unit for another game. All bets are equal.
This is my philosophy in sports betting. Everything shuuld be mechanical, we must bet like a robot and remain emotionless all the time. Just hit over %55 and stick with flat betting, you'll be making money on the long run. If your betting units vary from game to game, you may lose money on the long run even with a %60 winning percentage.
