LT when do you decide to take the dog ml instead of the points? On spreads > 3 points? I'm sure you could find some spreads where +1000 is better than +15 but taking that is harder to do. So when do you decide that you want the 3 cents on this ml assuming pinny odds or 2.5 -102/-108, instead of +2.5

You'll see that +2.5 in NBA is roughly = to +119, so +130 is great value.

I understand how to do this, what I was inquiring was how you decide when to take the ML vs the Spread? Or do you check every game on the ml and the spread and then bet the better one.

Even in an extreme case like Nets +12 or you could have +1900. I've never seen you bet dogs that big so I assume there is some threshold you have set and I was wondering your input on that.

You should always use the converter for spreads of 5 or less. You can also use it for spreads bigger than 5, but always assign margin of error for bigger spreads, only taking ML if there is a BIG variance from converter.
