this is 10-15 pts too high, for this particular matchup. have this capped at 186, and that didnt even factor in the past 10 or so meetings between these 2 that fell way below this number. Hoping this goes up even more with the game being on TV

You can't base this on past results. No Ben Wallace, Shaq, or Z tonight. The Cavs will look to push the tempo all game.

Cleveland is averaging 120.3 points a game since Shaq got injured.

yeah i said the 186 was without the past results even factored in..... the cavs memo this year has been first half over and 2nd half under.....just need the first half to not get too crazy

You mean M.O.? As in modus operandi?
The Cavs are playing without any true center on their roster right now. Varejao is their biggest player and he loves to run.

I always get screwed betting over/under on games that are blowouts. Detroit is terrible so who knows how many points they are gonna allow. Plus, when the game starts getting out of control Cavs stop playing defense. I could see this game being 116 to 84
To much of a toss up.

Well for clarification... Blowing teams out, while scoring over 110 pts has become the Cavs Standard Operating Procedure.

With Shaq out, I'm afraid of the Under here. You could have a 70-50 1H in this game.

I'd be careful, cavs scoring a lot more points this season and relying less on their defense. At least it seams that way anyway.
