I like it, but any team that shoots as many 3's as ORL scares me. They could go 5-for-25 or 12-for-25 on a given night and eff with the total -- you just don't know.

Think you hit the nail on the head about why this number is so big, my friend. Last year it seemed these guys could sink jumpers blindfolded from mid-court at will. This year Lewis & Nelson's numbers are way down. They still attempt too many long range shots imo, but nobody other than Carter is banging them home this year.

I stand corrected my friend, made me an assumption without doing my homework.

I'll just say that the Magic still play enough defense so that when the 3s do fall, the game still has a chance to go under the posted total. Unlike the Pacers, for example.
