    LBJ a Laker?
For those who haven't seen (if it has been posted - sorry) but i came across this the other day and forgot to post it till now....

Good for a couple laughs in the responses we will get from a few of our favorite forum members I'm sure...

"The greatest NBA free agent of all time, LeBron James, is quietly making overtures to the Los Angeles Lakers.

He wants to play for them. And James is not all that concerned whether Kobe Bryant is part of the equation. Bryant, of course, has yet to sign a contract extension with L.A. and could wind up a free-agent himself, albeit one with high mileage.

But the overtures have been made. LeBron wants to wear the purple and gold. Mainly, he wants to wear a championship ring, which means he wants to play for Lakers coach Phil Jackson.

“LeBron wants to win. He’s a smart guy,” explains one of my best inside sources, a close Jackson associate. “And Phil loves LeBron, absolutely LOVES him.”

I don't think it will work. The Lakers will get killed by the fans if they give up Kobe. If they keep Kobe he and Bron would never fit together. Kobe at this point in his career doesn't seem willing to give up numbers for championships. His ego is too big to take a back seat to Bron. It's hard to imagine the Lakers letting Kobe go in hopes of landing LeBron.

The GOAT staying in Cleveland -800.
                The GOAT leaving Cleveland +700.

I'll book action up to 1K.

In other words, LBJ ain't goin nowhere.

LA is a large place, but not big enough for those two. Same as it was not big enough for Shaq and Kobe....

I tell you what.. I heard a better one than this that is possible, but highly unlikely.

The New York Knicks have the most cap space in the NBA this offseason and can afford 33 Million.. What if Lebron,Wade, and Bosh signed there for 11 MIl each and took paycuts?? It would cost them money on the front end sure, but the possible championships and endorsements would more than make that money back.. Not my idea by the way just read it on espn and thought it was interesting.

Don't see all 3 going there. But would love to see LBJ and Wade on the same team.

If anything LeBron ends up with the Knicks which means the Knicks make the playoffs every year he's there.
