Why I'm doing well in NBA lately...

You can't just bet randomly because team A is stronger or because Team B is on the road. Gotta cherry pick 'em.

Every time I don't really like something from the get go, I lock myself in the room and start researching, thinking about every possible outcome, the latest games. I remember the scene from the movie "Two For The Money" when John Anthony needs to pick one more winner - the papers are all scattered around, he's sweating like **** and can barely breathe...he ends up tossing a coin and winning.

Especially when betting 1Q's and 1H's, which have been of great success to me - I try to see how teams have done in recent matchups, how they did the last game (MIL is a great example for a team to take when they are blown 1Q in their previous game)

So....which one of these do you like?

Right now the biggest candidate is Dallas (-4) 1H (buying the hook).

Way to go JA. I'm 6-1 myself since the AllStar break and currently on a 5-0 run.

while youre talkin about being selective and cherrypicking, it might be wise to do like ** picks has been doing and take some days off sometimes. i dont like any of your picks for tonight but if i had to choose one it'd also be mavs -4

nets were probably poppin champagne and partyin last night, throwin themselves parades and whatnot after beating the celtics. wizards have blown two leads and lost 2 close games in a row after they'd been playing really well and now they're looking to bounce back.

kaman for the clippers has emerged as one of the great bigmen in the league, giving Z, bogut and birdman some more competition for the title of best white bigman in the nba. i dont think hes gonna let evans dick him in the paint at all and hes also a shooting threat- plus if you havent watched the clippers much- baron davis is still pretty good.

8 or 9 points is a lot of points for the mavericks to cover- maybe 4 at the half is more feasible. goodluck whatever you play tonight

Good job JA... I cherry pick all the time....spot betting. Usually 2-3 days off a week....never more than 10 bets in a week. Did hit 9 once this year. This week ending today on books I am 3-1.

NBA is tough and a lot of times the number just isnt there at least the way I look at it. College ball is not so much the case. For every game I play in college theres 2 on average that I lean. Today I leaned on 4 but only played the one I liked best. Thanks glitch.

                  .

I admit I never had a NO ACTION day in NBA since I started betting. I am indeed guilty of that.

Well it's quite the opposite for me. Mainly because I live outside of the US and following NBA & Soccer is hard enough, let alone dozens of CBB teams.

Boys, final play WILL be Dallas (-4) 1H, just deciding how much I wanna risk on it (between 2-5 units)

Nothing official. I know for a fact SBR is working on a robust poker system though, it's their next big project as I have made it clear to these guys rake is going to make them a lot more than the 4-5 percent the sportsbook is.

Yeah I figured the cash game rake would take time to set up. MTT's and SNG's, they'll take a points on top of the point buy ins, I would assume. Thanks John.

No problem buddy. I will keep nudging until we get it, as of now I think there's nothing we can do as I know SBR is working on this.
