Warriors now 6-0 ATS with Ellis out

The Golden State Warriors are 6-0 against the spread without Monta Ellis in the lineup. Normally I don't read much into such small sample sizes, but the numbers behind it are staggering. He has a net +/- of -15.3. A net plus/minus takes the difference of the player's on court plus/minus and their off court plus/minus. I think his is the WORST IN THE NBA for anyone playing substantial minutes, let alone for someone perceived to be one of the team's better players. I'm not saying talent wise he is the worst player in the NBA, but as to fitting into a team he is far and away the worst player in the league. I don't know when/if the oddsmakers are going to adjust for this, but until then pound the Warriors if Ellis isn't playing.

he's just the type that takes random shots and have since moved to a 2 instead of a 1 which he was not good at, so this may affect things.

Agreed. Will play them when he is out. Typical trend that the bookies will not adjust to.

Just wanted to update this thread. GS is now 9-2 ATS with Ellis out, but alas he is back tonight.
