Will he remain a Cleveland Cavalier, re-signing with this team when his current contract is up?

Please share opinions and other, if any, team(s) he may sign with?

I'd say there's a 90% chance he stays in Cleveland.

Go to the Knicks and team up with D wade or Bosh. New York has to be one of the biggest markets for the NBA. Knicks have the room to sign 2 big names, possibly 3.

If he wins this year in Cleavland he'll still...if he doesn't and they don't make it to the finals, I'd expect him to leave. Cavs won't be better next year than they are/were this year.

I think he'll stay, but it may also depend how they perform in the playoffs.

Every once in awhile he must look at a few of his teammates and say wtf.

He will stay in Cleveland. He will not go to any of those loser teams with cap room including the Knicks, Clippers or Nets, why would he? Keep dreaming!

Well, you have The Bulls,Clippers,Knicks,Nets,Timberwolves, Kings & there may be another team or two......My question to anyone on here, why would anyone want to go to any of those teams? Any player re signing with there own team can get about 30 million more re signing & a 6th year........as a Toronto fan I know if Bosh leaves it will more than likely be a sign & trade with another team.

Anyways, I really think that James is basically the Coach & GM of the Cavs, he's playing close to home & with a pretty good roster....sure him going to LA would be nice for a Lakers fan, but they don't have the money to do it.If he wants to wait til 2012, then maybe LA can afford him.

I won't rule out the possibilty of him signing a 3-4 year contract and then maybe playing in NY at some point down the road, but I don't see him leaving Cleveland THIS offseason..

well it completely depends on the great player as after performing well to raise his value
he has the full rights to decide as in which team to select because he will definetely b paid a good amount fr retaining him in the current team..im a great fan of him i simply love the way he plays..i am gonna see him in his next match as i have already booked my xxxxxxxx also will enjoy my office leave there.

Lads why would he not sign with the Fakers ? Is it a money thing, I mean surely if Artest is playing with the Lakers then Lebron would. Kobe hated Artest and look where he ened up. im sure he respects Lebron. Would the league allow LA sign him ?

I seem to think King James is going to be leaving the Cavs, even if this team wins a title in 2010. He is yet so young, yet the biggest, yet the baddest man and name in the NBA, IMO (Colby is top tier also of course), nice bright lighter bigger market cities available, new means and/or era of marketability, new surroundings, a change of pace surroundings (burnout), more of a scene such as entertainment, seeing more of what goes on elsewhere. I just believe he is to big a star to remain in Cleveland any longer no matter what. I may be VERY wrong, but I see more upside for Lebron by leaving than by staying in one of the (what I have heard, never been there) dirtiest and worse cities in America. Think about all of the Lebron Talk now. Should he leave, it'll be a whole new ball game hearing about the new Lebron James, who is playing for another team. Just a thought.
