today's card really sucks. Just shit absolute shit! I would back the Wizards but they just got back from long West Coast road trip and no way do I lay 7 pts with a Bobcat team that just sucks on the road. Nuggest inconsistent on the road and Knicks always play up to the competition kind of. Pistons should cover the 4 but maybe not and Clips could cover the 10 in Dallas but then again its the Clippers. So just for the hell of it I will do a 3 team parlay for a small amount.

Yea Apexas Pistons flat out suck. As I said yesterday's card was dog shit unless you had Knicks ML that would have been nice. .5 units was just so I could have some action, but if that is the extent of my "slump" then I am a happy man. Today has a great card with lots of top flight matchups and sharp lines.

My favorite pick of the night is on a total. I am not a big total guy but gonna do the Bavetta special tonight and on top of the fact that the line seems too high. Nuggets just played last night and going up against the Celtics who play solid D this game should stay under the total comfortably unless it goes to OT and then who knows.

Strong Leans:
Lakers +2: Spurs playing 6 games in 9 days. Spurs do need this game for playoff seeding but these are the sames Spurs who lost to the Lakers at Staples without Kobe. I think Kobe can guard Mano very well, Pau matches up with Duncan well, Artest on Richardson. No Tony Parker and I just don't see the Spurs having anybody who can close this game out.

Magic +1.5: this is my Bully Theory on the Hawks. The Magic own the Hawks and the Hawks know it. Hawks just don't match up well with the Magic. A win here would mean a lot for the Hawks but I still don't think they get it as they aren't as consistent as the Magic. Magic are an elite team and Hawks are good just not elite BUT I will still tread lightly as this pick is very public.

Nuggets +4.5: Nuggets just lost to the Knicks as 7 pt favs yesterday, so they should be pissed. Nuggs have also gone 5 games without a cover., so they are overdue. Nugs also play the top teams very very well. Refs assigned have 17-28 ATS record for the home team which is Boston. Boston isn't very good ATS wise at home and the Celtics just got back from a 3 game west coast road trip so they are gonna be a little tired. The only thing that worries me is that Nuggets are lacking in the paint and will miss Kenyon MArtin tonight. Tread lightly on this one as well

Bucks -10. 76ers are dog shit right now and banged up. 76ers don't even care about this season and Bucks are a well rounded and well coached team who should win by DD. Not crazy about the large spread so I probably will not bet this one.

Jazz -3: Jazz own the Raptors and Raptors are showing their true colors late in the season while Jazz are getting better and better everyday. A win here and a Nuggets loss puts the Jazz in a better position come playoff team. You can also make the same argument for Raptors as well since they are still fighting for the spot.

so looking at tonight's card and the plays in my book would be Magic -2 and Nuggets -5, but here is the problem.

Magic -2: This line is way too fishy and although scoresandodds free matchup lists the Magic as -6, they really shouldn't be favored by 2.5 pts in my opinion. Magic don't historically play well in Dallas but if you look at the revenge factor when Magic lost at home to MAvs earlier in the season you realize how poorly the Magic played so one would think they would play better tonight. Mavs just played last night in OT and one could argue that they were looking ahead to tonight's game and didn't give max effort last night. If Magic were underdogs then I would play them but since they are favs and the public is backing them bigtime I will have to pass.

Nuggets -5: 1st game back from long road trip for Nugs and they have been playing like shit. Nugs also don't have their coach and thin at the PF position. Blazers are playing inspired ball lately and the last game in Denver the Nuggets shot around 55% and I doubt they do that tonight. I love playing against teams that played the night before at sea level and then go to to places like Denver or Utah, but tonght I will pass. Refs assigned to this game tonight have a combined 30-17 ATS record when the home teams are laying between 5-9.5 pts so this favors Nuggets bigtime.

After all that I am going to pass on both games as their are major problems with both of those picks. Good luck tonight on whatever you choose.

. When I bet on the Lakers I usually loose thats why I try and bet against them but tonight was a great spot for them, glad I stepped up.
