More likely destination for 2010 FAs: Chicago or NY?
So the big trade of the day involved Tmac and the Knicks. They cleared cap room for this summer to go after Bosh or Dwade. Lebron stays in Cleveland without a doubt. IMO.

Did anyone notice what the Bulls did? They unloaded players and in return received expiring contracts that's gonna put them $20m below the cap.

In looking at possible destinations for Bosh and Wade, wouldn't Chicago be the better choice than NY because of the Drose/Deng/Noah core they have in place? Not to mention that Wade, like Drose, is from the Windy City...?

    Like to hear your thoughts......

After trading Jeffries, the Knicks have room for 2 max-contract players, so they can bring in someone like Lebron and Bosh. The fact that they can sign another superstar will be appealing to whoever they go after. Gallonari and Wilson Chandler are solid players too. Obviously Chicago's core is stronger right now but with the ability to add 2 max players, NY can put out just as strong of a team.

Congrats Donnie Walsh, you just bought yourself Bosh and an overpaid Joe Johnson. Enjoy 3-4 years of being the 6th seed in the East.

I think it all depends. It is really up to the first superstar to make the move. If Bosh goes to NY I think LeBron or Wade will follow.

4 years as 6th seed in the East? Sounds like a bargain.

Considering he's hoping it leads to a championship, I think he's going to be deeply disappointed. There is very little chance of Lebron going to NY and I think Wade would prefer South Beach.
