Yes i am a laker fan but hear me out!
Some of you guys may know me some may not. This is my first real post so bash if you want or love it. I could care less. Before I get started, yes I am a Lakers fan and yes I will be at the game... Courtside across from Jack, in my black and white Bryant Jersey.

Here it goes... Lakers ML for me tonight... Reason?

Last time Lakers played Boston in Boston, Kobe came through with a semi clutch shot at the end and tight defense at the end gave Lakers the 1 pt win over Boston to conclude a good road trip. That day Kobe shot 8-20 and had a total of 19 pts. Tight defense kept the Lakers up and stepping up brought them back into the game.

Today has come.. I agree that the Lakers are with no doubt playing a lot better without Kobe. Odom, Gasol, and Brown have all stepped up to fill the shots of Kobe and have made the Guru Phil Jackson a very proud coach. Now the real test is about to start when the Celtics visit LA. Celtics have been losing to horrible HORRIBLE teams on the road lately, their team has no connection. They have been playing sloppy, giving up leads, and winning only out of mere luck (missed free throws, careless turnovers) Laker's have not been making these mistakes at home. When you keep playing a certain way with all this carelessness its very hard to turn things on and play seriously.

Lakers ML is safest bet for me. 4 is just a weird number. Either way, Lakers pull this one out. I would not put money on the Celtics, they have just been way too sloppy and in my opinion an old broken down team. KG doesn't attack anymore, Allen can't make shots and Rondo just aint the same Rondo we saw 2 years ago.

    Good luck to everyone!

How is Rondo not the same Rondo? If by that comment you mean he has evolved into a great PG, guy is play his best basketball of his career right now. Without Rondo playing at the high level that he is, the celtics would be struggling even more. Games to hard to cap IMO, I would lean celtics though.

    GL tonight

Rondo use to be able to make a lot of plays now he can barely come through and make a lay up. This guys use to take the ball in, grab offensive rebounds outta no where and now? He just aint the same. Call me crazy if you want... I just don't see him as the same rondo. I am pretty sure if he played how he did 2 years ago Celtics would be playing totally different.

rondo is probably twice as good as he was 2 years ago. he has nothing to do with the celts decline. it probably has something to do with their 3 highest paid players combined age being 99 years old and just about 3,000 combined games played............oh and sheed plays like the court is 50 feet long (3pt. line to 3pt. line)

The Lakers cannot keep winning without there star!!! They`ve already won 4 without him I think, Celtics old men got a little rest and now it is time to pick it up in the second half of the season. I took the Celtics on the ml just because I have watched a lot of Laker games and know that they don`t even blow out bad teams anymore how can they keep Rondo out of the lane. Brown, no way.

Lakers rarely fails to disappoint you in the last game. Thank goodness they didn't play a sorry team, it made picking Boston alot easier.
