This could be a weird game and might catch some of you people napping. The Blazers and the Clippers are trying to close a deal today Tuesday, that will send Marcus Camby to Portland in exchange for Steve Blake, an injured Travis Outlaw and some cash. If the trade pushes through and the papers get done today, don't be surprised to see Camby in a Blazers jersey.

If it gets finalized today complete with the black and white, I'll take the Blazers any day who's a -6.5 favorite...

I have no account on any other book, can anybody check the lines for this game for me? This game just mysteriously disappeared from the face of the earth, and it won't start till 7 pm Pacific...

SBR and VegasInsider still has it at -6.5 for the Blazers, but my local mysteriously pulled this game out of their menu, I'm just wondering...

My local put the game back on with Portland at -7, and it's now official:

It's official: Marcus Camby traded to Blazers

The trade sending Marcus Camby to Portland for Travis Outlaw and Steve Blake is now official, according to Yahoo! Sports.

Portland also paid L.A. $3 million, one big reason the Clippers chose this deal over others. Camby should immediately step in as the starting center -- he's reportedly upset about the trade, but should warm up to the idea of being on a legitimate playoff team.

Good move for the Blazers! They need a big man like no other, and Blake did not mean that much with Miller in the picture! You know Camby will get hurt two weeks now because he is a Blazer though! You heard it here first. "I will take NBA teams with the worst luck for $500 Alex"... "Who are the Portland Trailblazers"

So the bet is for Portland because Camby won't be on the Clips Roster?? Clips plus 7 against a blazers team who hasn't been blowing people out? I'm not sure I'm with all of you on this one, Baron Davis usually comes up BIG when he's pissed or emotional, and I wouldn't be surprised to see Mr. Kaman have a big day as well against a portland frontline that is soft (assuming Camby won't be suiting up)... If Camby plays he'll be a bit slow on rotations and eomtionally won't be ready for this game, and if he doesn't play the clips will have a field day inside!!! I'm staying away from this one, but Clips plus 7 looks mighty tasty!!

                                      It feels good isn't it?

I limited or should I say, concentrated my plays last night on 5 games, the Wolves/Pistons total (under), the Nets, the Kings, the Blazers and the Bulls game. I laid all kinds of crazy bets. Straight up, 3 and 4 team parleys and even a 4-point teaser, won them all.

I wish I can relive yesterday all over again!

                                          Thnx Ice!

I usually get home at around 3 am (Pacific) from work and that's when I do my research. I usually stay up until 8-9 in the morning searching for anything I could get a hold on to, to help me do my picks for the day. It was an easy day yesterday (hindsight!) since 2 of my biggest plays were the Bulls and the Blazers. Every time I look at the Wolves/Pistons game, all I see are 5 letters, and it goes like this --> UNDER. I found this "3-6-11" theory that favors the dogs, and it applied to the Nets and the Kings last night. The guy who stirred this theory says that when the opening lines are any of these 3 numbers, the favorites don't usually cover or lose outright 60 to 70% of the time. He's saying that when the books put out these opening line numbers, it's a telltale sign that they couldn't quite figure out the right odds to give. I not quite sold on it yet though, so I'll be tracking this from hereon in...

What will they do with J. O'neal if that ends up to be the case? I don't think either of them will settle for 6th man.

The Heat are solely zeroing on Amare right now, to help them out in their play-off run, while the Cavs are talking to two parties, the Suns and the Wizards. There's a pretty good chance Amare might end up in Miami...

your 3-6-11 theory might be the funniest thing i've read on here this week

i can guarantee you that you wont win 55% of your bets just because the opening number is 3, 6 or 11

O' Neal might end up playing C, while Amare could be the Heat's PF, and that will
make Beasley the SF, while Q will be their 6th man...

i can guarantee you that you wont win 55% of your bets just because the opening number is 3, 6 or 11

but congrats on your nice day

Like I said, I'm not quite sold on it yet and it might just be a coincidence because I already like the Nets as a DD dogs before I stumbled into this theory, and the Nets' recent ATS record ain't too shabby either, while I noticed the veteran Cs (I hate to say the word "OLD"! ) seems to be just running on fumes on most of their 2H games recently, and that's a recipe for disaster on the road against a young, running team with decent offensive arsenal at their disposal.

Like I said, I'll keep an eye on this "3-6-11" theory for now, and it wouldn't hurt either if I picked up a few bones on the side while trying to figure this thing out, you'll never know...

There are 3 teams that falls into this "3-6-11" theory category today, the Hornets (+3) against the Jazz, the Clipps (+6) against the Hawks, and the Pistons (+11.5) against the Magic. The Hornets and the Pistons are playable enough for me, but I seriously doubt the Clipps could cover against the Hawks tonight.

Let's see how these games pans out...

You know Camby will get hurt two weeks now because he is a Blazer though! You heard it here first. "I will take NBA teams with the worst luck for $500 Alex"... "Who are the Portland Trailblazers"
