    Kobe is a glorified...
First let me say I love the Lakers...I really do...but Kobe's just another glorified scorer.

In Kobe's same situation, T-Mac and Wade would've accomplished just as much, maybe more...all three players have quit on their teams more than once. Kobe quit in the finals twice and refused to take shots once his team was down, Wade quit while his team was getting swept by the Bulls and blown out last year vs Atlanta, and although T-Mac has never quit, it's arguable as to whether or not he makes his team better...

The only difference is that T-Mac and Wade probably wouldn't have airballed 10 three-pointers in his first several playoff games in close games vs the Jazz...

Can you imagine the Lakers without Kobe (even better without Kobe AND Fisher)? I mean seriously, 30% of their possessions wouldn't be fadeaway 3 pointers from Kobe with a hand in his face, making only 40% of those.

The Gasol, Odom, and Bynum trio would be unstoppable. The chemistry would be incredible. I truly believe that Kobe could make the team better, but he would rather be "the man." If Kobe and Pau took a similar amount of shots, the team would be damn near undefeated...

Having said that, Kobe's a great individual player with great defense and a strong will to win, he's just a moron and could never be the player that Lebron, MJ, or Magic was.

              1. He doesn't shoot fadeaway 3's.
              2. He doesn't hit 3's at a 40% clip.
              3. A 40% clip from deep is awesome.
              4. Simmer down, son.

seriously why do you criticized kobe that much? did he sleep with your wife or mother? if you can't be content with how kobe plays then just shut up, think about it who else among the draft class of 96 still plays at this level, he's still at his peak, he's still playing in superstar level. steve nash plays good nowadays but not as good as before, look at AI now he's washed up he can't even crack the rotation in memphis ahead of mike conley. So learn to appreciate kobe's greatness he's been in the league for so long yet he's still playing at a high level, he's a one of a kind player that is hard to find

if you want to argue the rest of the players that people said is better than kobe check back with me in a few years.
just like when people argue that tamc and vince is better than kobe look what happened to them when their athleticismfades?
tmac is waiting to be traded now and look at vince his play isn't consistent anymore because he can't jump like before.
AI isn't the same player he used to be, he's just signed by philly to draw the crowd in philly
but kobe knows how to adjust he has learned how to alter his game in order to be effective when he isn't as athletic as before, he became a better low post player and jumpshooter.
lebron is playing great right now but try to see if he can sustain his level of play when he isn't in his athletic prime, let's see if he can play like the way he's playing now

completely disagree - a glorified scorer is a reggie miller type player who does nothing else.

for his career he averages 25/5/5 and could no doubt increase his rebounds and assists if he had to. not to mention he is a complete beast on the defensive end.

making only 40% of his 3's? kobe is a career 35% 3 point shooter, and 40% would be an excellent 3 point ratio (see ray allen)
