They try to buy championships year after year. They would not win anything without the additions to the teams. They buy pieces year after year to win. CC and Tex were bought last year. Jeter and Riv were already there and they had not won a title in like 5 years. So, they did what they know best, throw around money.

Right but that worked for the first time in 9 years. I think thats what makes people angry that it finally worked. All those other years it didnt. They have bought 1 title. All those teams that won in the late 90's had some incredible home grown talent and wise free agent purchases and great role players.
