#3Yes their will be, b/c the owners are trying to take money out of the players pockets.
I hop all my NBA aficionados remember what happened last lockout.... The players held out until they ran out of money. David Stern has learned from the last lockout that many NBA players live paycheck to paycheck. So he can squeeze them until all their money runs dry again.
Look out for a Hard cap, reduce salaries for mid-level talents, NBA ridding itself of the Mid level exception, and shrinkage of the salary cap.Comment -

#16How is defense more exciting than offense?
And European players are known around the league as the worst defenders. Look at Toronto. 3 Europeans in the starting lineup, and they are one of the worst defensive teams in the NBA.
I do not want to insult the European product, but its in no way competitive with the NBA.
Oh yea Danilo Gallinari and Omari Cassipi ,two of the last top draft picks from Europe, are horrible defenders.
The NBA looks like people are not playing any defense, but the depth of talent, and rules dictate offensive gameplay.Comment -

#17No way we have a lockout in the NBA or NFL. These leagues have seen what it does in the past and it takes YEARS to recover. See MLB for example in 94. It sucks and whatever happens they will avoid it.Comment
