In the NBA, every all star will eventually decline and then have to retire. Or they continue to play when they are not at their best anymore and people tell them they should retire.
Look at Allen Iverson. The last 2 year everyone says AI is horrible now and too old Allen is 34 now and turning 35 this year which is considered "old" in the NBA. He also have lost it already a few years ago. No one even really cares about AI anymore because he isn't no threat. About 7 years ago, he was considered to be the top 5 NBA Players. I see Kobe is about 31 and turninig 32 this year.
Does anyone think Kobe will turn into an A.I in about 2-3 years time and then everyone will tell Kobe to retire? It would be weird watching lakers game without Kobe Bryant in i don't know how many years.
How long do you guys say Kobe will stay in the league for before he retires? I remember watching him since he came into the league at 18 years old and winning all those titles from 2000-2002. I thought SHAQ was the best player ever because no one could hold him under the post. Well as he got older, we saw how he was not a big factor.
Could it be because Shaq is too big and A.I as very small to be the reason why these 2 players just fell so bad as they got older? Kobe's not small or huge so it probably works not as bad as Shaq and A.I?
