It's not just the game it's all the traveling that comes with it. Instead of getting to rest and ice up they had to get on a plane late last night and travel to Cleveland.

It's a 1 hr flight from Chicago to Cleveland. And they fly on a private jet not commercial. You make it sound like they are a minor league baseball team and they took the bus for a 12 hr drive.
