Can the Nets get the job done in Boston tonight on the ML?

I don't think they will so I'm taking Boston on the spread for 2nd half.

    Interesting game though.

Wow. I give them credit for taking a 5 point lead into the half. Home or road, that's an accomplishment. I'll assume Boston wins the war of attrition. But I'm not watching the game and there's probably a reason they're losing to the Nets at home.

I'm not a big Rivers fan, but given Boston's age and tendencies resting players and attempting to develop more of a bench is 100% the right choice. Boston is one of the better road teams in the NBA at 17-8 (and 14-8 at home), and can certainly win on the road.

Boston is full of old key players. It's dumb to rest your key players, but it's also dumb to play them when they have the mileage Pierce, KG, and Allen have. And as much as I hate Boston for beating LA in 08, I've seen their young players step up plenty of times to really get upset when they don't come through a few times.

Doc can't win regardless of how he coaches this team. He will be criticized either way. And Boston will not be playing far beyond April this year.

On topic though, Boston obviously came back. The Nets are good for crumbling in the 2nd half, no idea why I didn't even take a look at the line. Anybody remember/know what it was? Please don't say anything less than -5.
