January 28 2010 Toronto Raptors v. New York Knicks
Toronto Raptors v. New York Knicks

    New York Knicks @ -3

    • Knicks are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of less than .400.
    • Knicks are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games as a favorite.
    • Knicks are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games as a home favorite.
    • Knicks are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 home games vs. a team with a losing road record.

    • Raptors are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 Thursday games.
    • Raptors are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games as an underdog.

The Knicks have had a full day to rest after a big home win. David Lee had 28 points and 10 rebounds, and the Knicks administered a beating, routing the Minnesota Timberwolves 132-105. Chris Duhon had 13 assists and no points! This is the 5th straight home game for the Knicks and they face a Toronto team that is 8-16 on the road and in a terrible schedluing spot, playing the second of a back to back. It's also been an emotional week for Toronto, with a huge win at home over the Lakers Sunday, and then a big game against Miami last night, a team they are battling for fifth place in the conference. An excellent spot for the rested, running home team.

    whats your input!!

Knicks must be lucky enough to defeat a team like Toronto

I like last games of raptors. I think handicap +3 to raptors better than -3 for nicks.
              raptors + 3 (chance win 70%)

not too fishy a line to me, IF the knicks show up they stomp Bosh, that big loss to the Mavs should have them still hungry here, pound on the Raptors early & often....

                I hope

grabbed some already, guessing this line hits 4.5 by game time

I really like the Knicks here too. Toronto is really bad on the 2nd game of a b2b. They are 0-4 when their 1st game is at home and the 2nd game is on the road and are 2-8 overall on the 2nd game of b2b's this season.

Agree with you guys that this is a tough spot for the Raps with them playing a tough one last night in Toronto and heading on the road to NY (also with the Knicks having a day off), but can't forget the performance against the Mavs and the fact that Toronto destroyed the Knicks just a few weeks back in NY. The game ended around 10 or so, but they were up around 28 at the break and rested players.

Nice insight on that previous head to head

Will slow my roll & think a bit longer on this match

The Raps are coming around. I don't think they will have a letdown against the Knicks. For me, the odds are that they come out and play well against the Knicks. They will continue to roll...

Perfect let down spot for Raps after 2 big wins.

Pounding the over here. Knicks play no defense and toronto has scored atleast 100 points in the past 11 games. Being that the knicks CAN at times be tough at home I'm staying away from picking a side.
