I had a pretty decent night going 6-1 in NCAA and 6-4 in the NBA,i have a thread running but just on a request by a few friends who want me to do a write up for this game,i have started a new topic but this play will also be included in my season Thread running in the forum.Let us preview our selection tonight:
Dallas Mavericks Vs New York Knicks ( Game totals Over 197.5). A 3 unit play !
The Dallas Mavericks will be looking to continue their recent domination of the knicks when they visit the Madison square garden today in an early game.The knicks are coming off a loss to the lakers whereas the mavericks are looking to round off their road trip with a win here.I am not messing around too much with the point spread here as of now but i am pretty confident about the totals in this game to go over.If we have a close look at the records,then the totals have gone under in the last 4 of the 5 games of dallas on the road,the totals have gone under in 10 of the last 13 games played at madison square garden which of course begs to play the under coupled with the fact that it is a day game and nate robinson is listen as doubtful for this game.So many factors and all of them point towards the under.However that is where i beg to differ.
The Mavericks have a pretty good offensive unit and the knicks are by no means a great defensive unit.These two teams have a tendency to play fast ball when they face each other which is strengthened by the fact that the totals have gone over in the last 4 of the 6 meetings between the two sides.The Mavericks have Dirk,Terry and marion here and i am looking for a good showing particularly from terry who was not impressive in his previous outing.The knicks will look upto Lee and Harrington for most of their offensive even if Nate sits out.I see these two teams exchanging buckets and taking this game total easily over the set line.
This is a 3 unit play for me.So good luck if you chose to tail me on this one.Will post further plays if i find anything more intresting.
