this is what I am currently trying to figure out - sportsinsights has it at 35% for the Pacers.... not sure how in tha fack to read these things

guess that's what Im trying to figure out.... when one says "80%" beside the pacers, then the other has 35% beside the Pacers, something is a miss

aaa, now I get it... that 80% is from earlier this morning... @ 11:00am from 5 dimes - hasn't updated since then, switch it to BetUs on sbrodds and you get a more up-to-date idea of whats going on.

The consensus on SBR can be very misleading, because it is only one book--namely 5Dimes.
Sports insights has it at 39% and PreGame at 27%. These sites use from 6-7 different books for their consensus, which is probably a more accurate reading of how the public is betting. That being said, I believe the 5Dimes number will "catch up" with the others as the day progresses.
I do wish that SBR would use a Pinnacle consensus, and/or a multiple book consensus like the other sites do.

You can switch that consensus by clicking the desired percentage, a window drops down, change from 5Dimes to BetUs and PRESTO - much more current info which updates far more frequently.
