    Mo Williams is OUT tonight
Mo Williams is out tonight with a shoulder strain. He scored a season-high 28 points against the Lakers in their first meeting. If you were leaning Cavs, this is probably enough to make you lay off this game.

No it's not! Somebody will get those shots. It's not like they will dissappear. It's typical overation to the news. In the end Cleveland will D LA up. LA may not get 90 pts tonite. They couldn't get 90 on their home floor against Cleveland last meeting and besides LA is more vulnerable now than then on the road. Who is LA gonna go to to get points in this game?? I don't like to bet against Kobe, but after watching him shoot the other nite I feel his finger is bothering him more than he wants to let on. All Cleveland has to do in this game is play their lockdown defense and the game is over.

It isn't necessarily the points I'm worried about. Mo is an integral part of this team. I'm most worried about the beginning on the 2nd and 4th quarters now when Lebron goes to the bench. Normally Mo becomes the go to guy as he's very good at creating his own shot, be we won't have that tonight. I'm thinking Delonte is going to get the start.

Good point! Sombody will just have to step up. It really comes back to defense. Cleveland plays their lock down variety of defense it's game over. Losing Mo is unfortunate, but not a disaster. Cleveland still has a deep roster of talent. IMO, this game is not that close. Did you see LA play Orlando at home. Orlando held them to 12 pts in the 3rd Q on their home court. If Orlando had not shit the bed that game they win that game as they had a 9PT lead late in the 3rd. Basically, LA's bench with Farmar and Brown played lights out and won that game. Also Odum was huge... Do you think Shannon Brown, Farmar and Odum are gonna stick it to Cleveland on the road tonite???

Very true. If Delonte plays most of the game at point Cleveland's defense actually becomes better. I doubt Fisher can score double-digits against Delonte.

If nothing else, this should help Cleveland play with a sense of urgency from the tip.

Mo Williams has done a great job of elevating his team in the big games this season. As much as this injury hurts i think it also ensures that the Cavs will come out of the gate hard as apposed to both teams going through the motions until the 4th. This obviously puts more pressure on the other players and really puts the emphasis on pressure defense and loose balls, 2 areas where the Cavs can really out-physical Los Angeles.

On the other end, close game down the stretch LA will have an advantage executing in the half court.

Also, if you watched that Orlando and La game you seen that game turned on a dime late on the 3rd quarter. Orlando was cruising up 9 and started running with LA on some long rebounds... The game went from controlled to quick paced steet ball game and Shannon Brown and Jordan Farmar turned that game on the dime. Brown, and Farmar came in fresh and proved to be too fast and quick for Orlando late in the 3rd. Most importantly they were scoring in transition and hitting big shots.. That game was not won by Kobe or Gasol.. Also, Orlando started settling for all jumpers and went away from Dwight Howard who was having a huge game at the time. I don't think LA can bank on Farmar and Brown being that huge on the road playing against Cleveland tonite.

I like the Cavs more now than I did. All Pubs believe Mo Williams is news. It's not news to Vegas. They knew his avaliability before releasing the line. Also, anybody following basketball knew he most likely would not play.

Perfect storm LB.. Lakers on TNT getting points.... JM Bet... Mo Williams News... All of America will be looking at their Lakers +3 later tonite and go damn.... That game was rigged... LA layed down....

correct - esp at home, this shouldnt matter.....if you liked the cavs to begin with, wait till the last minute and get the best line possible (should keep going down)

Suprised a lot of people don't remember the golden rule: Always bet the team who on gameday has a starter out/injured.

How many of you have been burned by betting on team B when you heard team A had a starter injured/out, and team A still ended up winning because the team is not one person, but the entire unit, bench always steps up in situations like this.

                                  Easiest pick all day: Cavs

IMO, that just means less turnovers because he has been playing like crap.

Gibson going to hit some big threes tonight. West will not turn the ball over as much as Mo. I really think Mo needed to be out because he looked like crap on the road trip.

Adj+/- says Delonte is a 4 point improvement over Mo. Gibson is about a 1 point decrease.

Mo scored 22 points last game and led all players with a +/- of +17.

Everybody, besides LeBron James, is a role player on that team.

                                                    NO Mo, no problem.
