How does the system work?

There's two systems that I currently use to get the plays. One is a predictor based on sagarin ratings and the points scored and given up by each team, with some variances during back to backs, road trips, long flights and timezone differences. The other one is a bunch certain trends that I have backtracked throughout the season and the last. I also have a chase system which I'm currently trying to figure out.
