You have watched the wrong games. Cleveland plays to the level of their competition this year. Go watch the Christmas day Lakers game or the back-to-back games they played against Atlanta (They held Atlanta scoreless for 9 minutes).

I agree with your statement that they play down the the competition but you can not be a champion if you do that. They need to give it their all 90% of the time, you can't rely on LBJ hitting 3 3points in the final 2 minutes every night. Trust me, I love what LBJ brings to the table but he is surrounded by sloppy slackers. Varejao is the exception.

I'd disagree. Mo and Delonte play as hard as anyone.

Also, you said you can't play down to the competition and win a championship? Ever seen the Lakers?

Last year the Cavs were new to being a dominant team and took pride in blowing out all the bad teams, yet had a sub .500 record against the 4 or 5 toughest teams in the league. This year they have those games circled on the schedule far in advance and basically seem to just go through the motions in between.

I think they just do not have the players, although they might have best record in NBA by end of year because of Lebron. He is much more of an impact player than Kobe also. Cleve has nothing and has a great record because James is so fukkin good.

I've been a Cavs fan since they drafted Lebron. I followed Lebron in high school and played against him at a basketball camp when I was a freshman in high school (I also beat Stephen Curry in a shooting contest at that same camp, my only claim to fame

). I've watched every game the Cavs have played since Lebron was drafted, and that includes the ugly first 3 or 4 years.

The point is, Lebron is the greatest athlete the NBA has ever seen and will be considered the greatest player in history by the time he is done. In all seriousness, go read Bill Simmons' article on ESPN as he articulates many of my points better than I ever could.
