That was my concern with this bet, especially given the raptors have beaten the cavs already this season.

the odds reflect the risk you take on when making the bet, so a bet with higher odds has a higher chance of loosing

if you guys think raptors have a chance it means you have already put money on the spread because +10 is a hell of a spread for a team that you think is gonna win outright

We weren't questioning the mathematics of the bet, we get the odds aspect of it. The issue we had, or I did at least, was why you would risk so much to win so little. The cavs have already lost once this season to the raptors as a huge favorite, "fool me once shame on you..."

14-3 home record vs a below 0.500 Toronto road record... Very strong chance that Cleveland wins but still by no means is it worth the risk! All it takes is for Cleveland to have a real bad game... As we all know this happens to every team in professional sports at some point.
