Very true. I think they let them play but make them aware of certain lines that exist. Den was just up big, they let Utah right back in it. They did the same in the first Q.

Refs determine NBA games ATS more often than anyone would think, IMO. And Coach Knight's opinion. A whistle here and a whistlre there, right in front of millions of viewers.

nba does whatever they can to generate more money thats why you always see the powerhouse teams getting all the calls the better schedule etc they sell more merchandise ring in more viewers and money for the league and rig the shit out of it till they get what they want...thats also why theres the kobe and lebron dolls the big build up theyr gonna do whatever they can to get that series set up

I do think many sports leagues are fixed. There is too much money involved in something so trivial and let's be honest unimportant as sports, to not have it be controlled and scripted to some extent. This is especially true in the NHL (see last year's All Star game, and the entirety of the playoff finals), and it is all for more money.

You dont know what goes on behind the scenes, it's a business. Most billion dollar businesses have shady dealings going on.

Fukking ignorant people just try to be more mature about it and claim there's no fixing end of story. Psychologically, I've deduced that they aren't even OPEN to the possibility because

A. it would mean all their handicapping and bullshit hours spent on research was just a waste of time.
B. if they are a fan, finding out their beloved sport is just a sham
