22/01/2010 ( FRIDAY)
1) Orlando Magic Vs Sacramento Kings ( Game totals Over 207) : One of the starting games on board and i must say i like this game a lot,The magic have been cold recently and tonight is the night for them to get themselves back on track with the help of their offense which is more than just capable.Howard always brings his best against the kings and tonight he will dominate the board along with Vince carter,Matt barnes ( who has been doing well past few games) and of course Pietrus,lewis and nelson.On the other side we have The kings led by Martin who is undoubtebly their most valueable player and he is assisted by Rookie of the year Evans,Cassipi and hawes.I don't think the kings playing a lot of defense tonight as they will be looking to step up and move the pace with the magic.I have 1 unit for this one and i say this game sails over the set line.Good luck with medium to high stakes ! 2) Miluwakee Bucks ( +7.5) Vs Toranto Raptors : Okie,so the bucks suck on the road and should lose this one.Lose they will but they will cover the handicap.I just feel this line is set too high for the raps too cover considering the bucks aren't mere pushovers as the new jersey nets.The bucks took care of the raptors at home by 6 last game between the two sides and the raps will be looking to return the favour.However,this game is going to be a little closer than it seems like by the line.I am gladly taking the spread and i see the bucks doing well.Good luck with mid stakes. 3) Dallas Mavericks Vs 76ers ( Game totals Over 198) : Dallas has screwed me with the totals over the past few plays on their game and the stubborn bitch that i am,i aint giving up anytime soon and i am playing this game tonight and this time around i am pretty confident that dallas wont let me down and will grant me with a win.The mavs are coming off an exciting win over the wizards and the 76ers got a home loss by the blazers.76ers are undoubtebly a very unpredicatable basketball team with such amazing talen in the form of AI,Igoudala,Brand & Dalembert and the mavs counter with Terry and Nowitski.For once i expect these two teams to play free flowing ball tonight and take this total over the set piece.Good luck with medium stakes. 4) Golden State Warriors ( Team Totals Over 111) Vs the Nets : Well,the line is naturally set high here given the fact that the nets have been pounded by almost everyone all season long and i dont really see a way for them out of their slump.Having resigned to the fact that their season is heading nowhere now,the nets are finally cutting lose and playing some free flowing basketball.Even if they try defending,i think Maggette,Ellis and Curry are going to be too hot to handle for the nets anyway so might as well play along.I see the warriors have another good night offensively and take this over.Medium stakes.Good luck! 5) Player Performances ( Steve Nash Over 18.5 Points) : Come on books give this old fella respect man,Yes the suns have Amare & Richardson but how can one forget the backbone of the team i.e nash who is a 3 point specialist plus an excellent free throw shooter which adds to his resume.I see the old champ putting up a good offensive display against the bulls tonight.A medium stake play as well.Good luck everyone. keep it up buddy, no need to be discouraged by a 0unit gain/loss night. ive noticed you may have a slight bias towards the over, might want to keep that in check a little bit before hitting. it takes all four quarters of good/decent scoring from BOTH teams to cover the over, whereas the under could hit with just 1 team having a sluggish quarter..Comment -

FOLLOWING ARE MY NBA PLAYS FOR ( 23/01/2010)
1) Milwaukee Bucks ( -7.5) Vs the Minnesota Timberwolves : The bucks get back home for one game and they will be more than happy to welcome the lowly timberwolves.I expect the bucks to rise to this occassion after covering the handicap very successfully for me against the raptors last night.Jennings,bogut,Ridnour should finally show the people out there what they are capable of doing,well as for the timberwolves,you cant just rely on Kevin love all your life,i expect them to be drained out anyway after an OT loss to the hornets on friday and i see the bucks taking it to them early and eventually covering this point spread.Go here with medium stakes.Good luck! 2) Miami Heat Vs Sacramento Kings ( Game totals Over 201): The kings are coming off another road loss,this time to the the hawks and have lost 11 out of their last 12 road games,I see them covering the spread tonight but then the confusion over which miami team will show up here makes me want to stay away from the handicap.I am however confident that the heat will do just enough on offense combined with the kings and take this game total over the set line.( This is a 2 unit play for me),Medium to high stakes.Good luck.( Loss)
3) 76ers ( +3) Vs the Indiana Pacers : The 76ers will be looking to win back to back wins only the fourth time this season when they play the indiana pacers tonight.the sixers seem to be finally gelling as a unit with brand,AI,dalembert along with Igoudala.Yes the pacers have granger,rush and price but then i somehow cant digest this line.This one should be a close encounter and i feel that the sixers will get what they are looking to achieve and i.e a back to back win against the pacers here.AI to come to the party and the sixers to cover the handicap.Good luck with medium stakes. 4) Utah Jazz Vs New jersey Nets ( Game totals Under 201.5) : So the worst NBA team ( Excuse me,i feel like saying a WNBA team) will be visiting the Jazz here to get pounded again.However,this time the only difference would be that the beating would be more because of the nets scoring a lot less than they should.I see the jazz blowing them out on their homecourt but this game should not reach even 200.I am sure Utah will give their bench some gametime after taking a comfortable lead and as far as the nets go,if they couldnt do much against the warriors last night,i think it will be fair to add that they dont stand a chance in this one.Take the under and enjoy.Mid stakes,good luck. 5) Orlando Magic Vs Charlotte Bobcats ( Game totals Under 190) : I don't like this line.It is set a little high for me,i expect this game to be played more on the 180,s scale.Yes the bobcats have been helping the totals go over in their backyard which is very unusual given that their defense is much talked about and i believe they will bring their " D" into play against the magic team.I see an close encounter here but the game totals should stay under.Mid stakes again.Good luck.( Loss in an non existent overtime situation,sucks)
6) Cleveland Cavaliers Vs Oklahoma City ( Game totals Over 189) : So Mo williams and delonte west are out,fine enough,this is my small play for tonight with small stakes but i still have a gut feeling that this one will go over even if it marginally does,I like the thunder to keep it close the cavs tonight and it will be intresting to see what strategy the cleveland coach brings out.I like offense here and this is my reason i am playing this over.Small to mid stakes.Good luck. 7) Houston Rockets ( -6) Vs the Chicago Bulls : The surprising thing here is that like in the heat vs the kings game,the books are not messing around with the line here which gives me a strong feeling that the bulls may just be a bit fatigued winning against the suns last night and playing Back to back against a good rockets team should be anything but easy.The rockets are a good unit and i see the bulls to show up their unpredictable side once again which should be good enough for the rockets to cover this line.Good luck with mid stakes. 8) Player Performances ( Shaquille O Neal Over 11.5 points) : I dont think the books still give the big man the respect he deserves and he has been proving them wrong with their set lines time and again and tonight should be no different.With the team's second highest team scorer Mo williams out.the cavs will be looking for help from the big man after james and as long he does not get into foul trouble,Shaq should be able to score these points.I am taking the over here with mid stakes.Good luck ( WON AT HALFTIME)
9) Player Performances ( Emaka Okafor Over 12.5 points) : You all must be wondering why i am in love with the over in these player performances,well its for the simple reason that i feel the lines are set too low for these guys who are good,i feel the books tend to go overboard when setting points for the stars for each team and these guys are left behind,i do like this guys to score these points tonight.Playing it with mid stakes.Good luck. 10) Miami Heat ( Team Totals Over 104) : When i say that i am not sure which miami will turn up tonight,i still feel that against the kings,the heat should be more than favoured of scoring these set lines.Good luck with mid stakes. ( WON)

So then my capping for tonight is finally done what with 10 plays on the board and a small stack play on the nuggets.As a bettor i hope to hit all but as a capper i will be glad with the majority hitting bulls eye.Again i post only those plays that i play myself and i try my best to help you all and if i make money rest assured you all will as well,Thats why i spend so much time and energy capping these games.Anyhow good luck to the ones who r going to tail me and the critics and the people who will fade me.

1)Dallas Mavericks Vs New York Knicks ( Game totals Over 197.5). A 3 unit play !
The Dallas Mavericks will be looking to continue their recent domination of the knicks when they visit the Madison square garden today in an early game.The knicks are coming off a loss to the lakers whereas the mavericks are looking to round off their road trip with a win here.I am not messing around too much with the point spread here as of now but i am pretty confident about the totals in this game to go over.If we have a close look at the records,then the totals have gone under in the last 4 of the 5 games of dallas on the road,the totals have gone under in 10 of the last 13 games played at madison square garden which of course begs to play the under coupled with the fact that it is a day game and nate robinson is listen as doubtful for this game.So many factors and all of them point towards the under.However that is where i beg to differ.
The Mavericks have a pretty good offensive unit and the knicks are by no means a great defensive unit.These two teams have a tendency to play fast ball when they face each other which is strengthened by the fact that the totals have gone over in the last 4 of the 6 meetings between the two sides.The Mavericks have Dirk,Terry and marion here and i am looking for a good showing particularly from terry who was not impressive in his previous outing.The knicks will look upto Lee and Harrington for most of their offensive even if Nate sits out.I see these two teams exchanging buckets and taking this game total easily over the set line. ( WON WITH 3 UNITS)

3) Player Performances ( Shaun Marion Over 12.5 points) : I love this guy to score the set points today,he is a good aggressive player and if you have followed him closely,he does like to go in and get it going early,he will get the mavs going along with terry and dirk.Play him with medium stakes.Good luck! Right guys,so this is the night i was looking for and i was pretty confident it was coming,3-1 in my plays in this game and I am up 7 units,I know who my real supporters are who despite a no profit no loss run had faith in me and their private messages helped me,They all know whom i am talking about.

g'day. well done on your latest picks. i've been dropping by your thread for a while now, and have enjoyed the quality and substance here.
missed the dallas/nyk game due to the time difference in our respective parts of the world (gotta sleep sometime, huh?) it looked like carnage, though.
i also notice that you're one of the few cappers who wager on player performance. it seems quite fruitful, although for some reason, the local books here have stopped providing that option in the regulation season.
