Don Logan Flies Innocent Snow White to Pepsi Center...Punches Mile High Club Card
    Magic +5 at Denver

I think the wrong team is favored here, even in Denver. Nuggets busted outta the gate red hot this season but they've seemed to gradually transistion themselves into being just an average team ever since. And I don't think that's just due to missed games by Billups/Anthony, either. So even if they're fully stocked for tonite's game against Orlando, I think Denver's gonna have a tough time scoring on Orlando. Gotta go with the better overall team plus the points, imo.....Magic, baby!!!!

Hope your wrong this time Don! I think Denver tends to play better in these types of games against good competetion. They know they must play well to beat Orlando. I bit the cheese on the this big public play.. Hell, i was waiting for the line this morning to post to pounce on -4.5.

IMO, you have better value on taking the Majic ML.. IMO that's the only way the cover tonite is a S/U win. Denver tends to win by way more than 5pts against any competetion when they win.

Promise me this Don.. Rather you win or not still post some pics after the game

I'll say this Don.. You have to be on the sharper side. Denver for me is always a "feel good bet" I love Denver at home against strong competetion. They tend to cover those quite a bit more than they lose. Denver has struggled at home against the Knicks,76ers,Twolves, and a few other lower rung teams, but generally beat or at least cover against the good teams and I consider Orlando a good team. I think they get up for this game tonite and run Orlando out of the gym. Orlando is the type of team you better hope their jumpshot is falling tonite because otherwise they will be cooked.

GL Don. I hate taking ORL on the road, so I'm steering clear from this play atm.

That butt whippin Denver gave to LA way back seemed to cement their identity as a quasi-elite team to some people. Nuggets have really tapered off since then, and it seemed to begin even before Melo & Billups disappeared together from the court. As for that Cleveland game the other day, that game could've gone either way, but Cleveland was favored because Melo was out and the Cavs were already playing so strong going into that game. My take is that Magic are right there with Cleveland despite a spell of cold-shooting against a few teams they should've beat. Like you said....teams gotta make their shots or else fahgettaboudit.

Anyway, looks like you've been on a hot streak too, so I guess someone's streak's gonna end tonite...

I agree with the perspective on Denver, but I think there is a little more to them then you give them credit for especially playing at home. The fun thing about this is the back and forth makes the game better to watch. Who's right or who's wrong kinda thing.

One thing that will shock me is this.. If Orlando covers the spead loosing by less than 5pts. Tonite, I feel Orlando must win this game to cover the spread or else you have a double digit Denver victory. I feel this way because their isn't much in between for this Denver team. They usually blow people out at home or lose S/U it seems, especially against the better teams.

Seriously Don, if you like Orlando here I would just take the ML besides your getting 2/1 on your money. Not bad!

While i see your thinking Don you cant say the wrong team is favored here. No way Orlando is going to be favored in Denver against a healthy Nuggets squad. Only one concern with your bet is that on b2b in the altitude Orlando might fade in the second half cause one thing about the Nuggets is when they beat you they whip you especially at home and im sure Denver remembers last years loss at home to these same MAgic- albeit the Magic are starting to heat up and do have that little guy in the back of my mind saying to take Orlando.

Maybe worst case a pick 'em, that's basically what the line was last year in Denver between these two.

Don, you seem to win enough to be a professional gambler! Are you? The reason I ask is because I have seen you mention several times Las Vegas is were you place your action. Being saying it too long for it just to be a vacation. I place action in Vegas too, but only 1 week a year on vacation.

Just want to know what I am getting myself into here being on the other side of the great "Don Logan".. If I win I wlll tell everybody I beat the 'great' Don Logan. If I lose.... Well, it was expected if you are a pro...

I've lived in Las Vegas for a few years and make some money betting sports, but I also have a part time job & sell real estate on the side. I'm aged late 30s, but if I were ten years younger I'd most certainly be eating, sleeping, & breathing sports betting. Just don't have time for that these days although I wish I did sometimes! Lol @ "Great" Don Logan.

Yea, unfortunately I drink, eat, and sleep sports wagering. Yea, I have been profitable at it a number of years now, but i still think it's counterproductive for me because I own my business and could be making more money doing that probably if i was 100% commited. I say "probably" only because the economy is in the the toilet right now and business is just not great anyways regardless of your commitment to it.

Sorry this is late fellas, but if you watched the Orl/Sac game the other night, their play was very lackluster with no flow. Only in the 4th Q did they come out and dominate like they can...feeding the post first and then kick out for a (in rhythm) jump shot (3pter). I had Orl -4 before the game against Sac and when they were down by 4 at the half, I jumped on the Orl -1 for the 2nd half HOPING they would get back to playing their brand of b-ball. Well they did that in the 4th Q finally... But based on their lackadaisical play lately, I put my money on Denver last night. I had a feeling that they would continuing playing inconsistent and that they would not get away with it against a good team like the Nuggets in Denver and then again on B2B as well.

BOL in the 2 games tonight!
