Point guard Damier Pitts, who is averaging 10.2 points and 4.4 assists and shoots 85.7 percent from the foul line, was suspended for violating teams rules and did not make the trip. Jones expects him back for the Herd's home game Saturday against Tulane.
The other two absences are reserves - Tirrell Baines, who is recovering from knee surgery and will miss a few more games, and Antonio Haymon, who did not make the trip with an abdominal infection. Jones said Haymon needs to recover fully from that before returning to the court.
