sportsinsights/pregame.com/sbrodds/thespread.com etc . i dont really use these sites much during the day. i will tell you one thing - i rarely cap my plays. i see how money moves and make my move. thats why i knew the plays today were losses before gametime. i didnt even sweat it. when you lose on the last move before tipoff- you aint going to win trust me. also one thing i didnt do was chase the losses at halftime. i just moved on.thats why when guys ask me why i wait so long to post plays they know now. its thousands of dollars before the whistle blown if you dont get the right move. anyways on to tomorrow.

RE: Sportsinsights, I assume you use the "Premium Pro" subscription for moves then ??

Also, regarding favorites that open at -3 or -3.5, it appears that if the line is bet down by tipoff, dogs cover a high percentage of the time and if the line is bet up by tipoff, favorites cover a high percentage of the time. A fellow capper pointed this out to me, did some backtesting, and it seems to hold ...... at least for the limited sample size he worked with. Would you have an opinion/thought on this you could share?

I'm an old thoroughbred capper and toteboard watching frequently spoke volumes. However, it took me a while to learn which money moves and, more importantly,when bets were placed prior to post, meant something. An art more than science for sure. Assume the same holds true for hoops.

Lakerboy or anyone else, do you guys use Statfox? If yes, have you paid for the subscription to receive their fox sheets? I've been using them for awhile to look at trends, angles, and historical data of the matchup, but never bought a subscription.

Not that I go off trends alot, but like seeing it for the given matchup. I'm trying to get more into late money movement and Statfox looks to offer a pretty detailed "fox sheet".

Someone comment or give opinion on this, thanks.

I use betfair and is great!!
I opened a betdaq account, but they shutdown
the basketball markets, when in play and
have no inplay in basketball.
Betdaq also noticed odds are
shorter than betfair. Which sucks!!!
No inplay in basketball tho really sucks!!!
No trading possibe than.
Does anyone use these exchanges?
Watching the money on the bet/lay sides
Will usually indicate whats gonna happen...

Fa sho, I wouldn't pay either just was wondering. Of all which is the most reliable when it comes to getting updates right before game-time? I mostly use live odds here, but was wondering about some of the others, i.e. covers, thespread, sportsinsight, etc.

i sometimes bet in play mate it can be good for getting better lines but i dont so much now bet in playcoz it can be a minefield. for example you fancy a team say -4.5 you can wait a few mins and back them -2 or even pick if they started bad.
Next match the team you fancy at -4.5 starts the game well and leads 20-6 and are now -12 and your not happy coz ya fukked up and can't bet them now lol i just try the opening lines really especially if i'm trying to tail say Lb.

It would've been ok last night if i had spotted what Lb did as Miami were back to -6.5 after a few minutes of the game again and i could changed the bet to Miami. Unfortunately i'm still trying to better understand the lines never seen what he did and me being a numpty broke the betting rule and backed Indiana again at +12.5 it wasn't funny watching but a new day now!!

After the magic went on a late run and had a good lead. I'm liability is 460 on taking that bet.
Lakers got going again and i traded out nice profit. This is what i try to do, pays really well.
If u make ur move at the right time. Love basketball works well

I backed man city for 30e at 10-1 a goal down against man u the other night.
300 PROFIT but had to spead in across the board 100 win/draw/loss
Wish i had a whole lot more on it tho!!!!

In injury time i bet 1-0 Villa and Liverpool at 20s and 16s

Best way of gambling mate if the plays ain't there don't make them!! I could bought a small tropical island if i followed a guy in the betting shops advice about that when i started playing.
