as convenient as that would be, we just gotta check the thread ten minutes prior to game time...I mean we know that if a game is scheduled for 5:10, he's gonna make his pick at 4:59.

If there's a game at 4:10 tipoff, just check at 3:59 and you'll see his pick

I just can't get a handle on what you guys mean. So 58% of the public is on Dallas. The line started at -5 and is going lower.

Wouldn't that mean they are trying to get more action on Boston or do they think people will keep taking Dallas and drop it for that reason?

so the amount of actual bets (public) is on dallas at 58%....and the line did what it should (go down).....the books were trying to attract more action on boston to even out the bets.....remember, they want even action and will take the vig. thats my opinion and i know some others will have a different opinion on why the line went down.

Good question. I think the percentages on covers are for a limited amount of betters.

I believe the percentages on covers are specifically for picks made on their site. They don't cover "real" bets.
