I noticed that they rarely go +EV with their halftime lines.

Why is that?

I have, but in this case it doesn't really make sense to me. Are they leaning towards a Laker cover despite the strong close for Miami? Why else offer the fatter line on Miami longer than the overall market dictates?

sharps pounded the line right before it closed,so the books hoping to get more action on the lakers by lowering the line so they can get as close to = $ coming in on both sides as they can

Them and matchy dont switch unless it is to there advantage. You can say they are hoping for a laker cover cause in this case it was obvious more dollars came in on miami and they are hoping lakers win by 6. So much money came in on heat at the end it wasnt even funny.

The line movement on this game was really messed up as it's a JM bet and the Lakers in one play. However, if a lot of those bettors bought the points, they would be sitting on LAL -1/-2 for a 3-4 point danger zone, overlapping with MIA +5/+6. If the game ends tight with a Laker win, the books could really get killed here.

LB, one thing I noticed is Miami is the most unpredictable team. They are up and down all the time. BTW, lot of late money came on miami few days back in orlando game....but they got crushed in that game...the line at Matchbook was -500 on miami when the lines closed. So, I wouldn't trust even a single dollar with Miami. But good luck on your bet LB...hope they cash for you .
