I meant doofus cause I was hoping and praying that he would miss a free throw. Just yapping. That is just my luck I have parlayed the sucker bets 4 times just needing to hit the last game and lost. Just hoping to hit one.

Im not a big fan of buying points. I would never buy points on totals. As for spreads if i cant get the right # no need to play that game. If you are already at a disadvantage of -110 why get yourself into -120 etc. The idea is to get as close to +ev as possible. Thats why i use pinny and use there lines to my advantage with my local. For example they had lakers/mavs over +102 tonight. Yes i took the under but if you took the over you won and no juice. I very rarely buy points. You can make all the arguments for it you want but buying points isnt gonna make much difference in the long run if you can cap games.

Thanks a lot LB, I really appreciate the feedback. Like I said, I usually buy the half a point to put it on a solid number but I do try to limit this to spreads. I like your reasoning though and may begin doing this less and less.
