NBA Best Bets

You may join at any point. Simply post your best bet for the day and you will be added.

The Rules:
- Each user may post one pick each day.
- Each bet will be to win $100 on - lines and risking $100 on + lines.
- You may make any bet that is listed on SBRodds.
- Books allowed: All books on SBRodds
- Chalk Limit of -180

Picks MUST include the following or they will not be counted:

- Price
- Book

I know a lot of us really want this to keep going, at some point some people could be cut and/or nobody else could join unless they keep their own record for a while or something. Just some ideas I'm sure you could come up with something good.

Exactly, just start some new records for each week, or month.

Truthfully the people at the bottom, or minus $$$ probably dont want theor records shown anyway. Its to much work for one person.

Just start cutting the list down, and watch how people will stop posting. Less work for you.

Thanks for the suggestions guys, but I think for now we will keep it as is. It is pretty time-consuming, but I don't want to keep people from participating. I could make it easier by just keeping wins/losses for each user, but I actually record all the details of each bet for each user (blame my OCD). While I could take some shortcuts, I think the full records may be valuable to users in the future.

ive said it before - you should limit this to guys with at least 100 posts. just for the mere fact that you dont know if those guys just signed up one night when drunk etc and have no intentions of posting here on a regular basis.

For now I'm not going to limit anyone since number of posts does not indicate someone's capping ability. However, if this gets to the point where we have 100 picks/day being posted I may have to consider something. I'll just keep plugging away for now though. There are a few posters who have generously donated points to me for my work and that helps make it worth the time and effort
