Thought I would share this with you guys. It's been a while since I've been so confident in a bet.
Orlando Magic (-2) @ Washington Wizards
Not that I think Washington is totally lost without Arenas, but take away one of the best players in the league from one of the worst teams in the league, and you have a recipe for disaster. They had an early meltdown last game and couldn't come back. Expect the same thing to happen here. I think the Wizards will need some time to mesh without Arenas. It's too early to start expecting the wizards to come away with a win, especially against a team of Orlando's caliber.
New Jersey Nets @ New Orleans Hornets (-4)
Statement game for the Hornets. Why? Because if they lose to the Nets at home tonight, their reputation and morale will be destroyed. After a great season last year, New Orleans is now struggling to stay above .500. I can't see them taking this game lightly, as they'll need to take advantage of every matchup they have against losing teams to make it to the playoffs. The Hornets are 13-3 at home.
I'm laying $120 to win $100. Wish me luck.
